Product Description

Surface Repair Refinishing Spray is ideal for the toughest refinishing jobs, this porcelain hard refinish coating cures and becomes hard like no other paint and is long lasting, durable, with a high gloss finish that is easily kept maintained. Use for refinishing bathtubs, sinks, toilets, shower stalls, stove tops, washers, dryers, refrigerators, outdoor furniture and more. This product can also be used on cast iron, enameled steel, vitreous china, porcelain, gel-coated fiberglass, acrylic and plastics. This ceramic like product is the ultimate for applications where water moister, high humidity and ease of cleaning are a concern. The applications are endless!

Available colors: (Choose above) Appliance White, Plumbing White, Biscuit/Linen and Almond/Bone.

Other applications:
Utility and golf carts, hand rails and grab bars, air conditioning grills, parts refinishing, metal doors and window frames, cabinet doors, office furniture, file cabinets and more. Great for pool, spa, sauna, utility and pump areas, basement, kitchen, yard and other products exposed to the elements.

Application highlights and recommendations:

  • Sprays smooth with little orange peel and nice gloss.
  • A clear coat is available for surfaces that do not need color or to extend the use of the color coat application.
  • Clean the surface first with pre-cleaner and wipe with a tack cloth for optimum spray out results and a dust free finish.
  • Spraying product at 76 degrees ambient work temperature will give excellent spray out results.
  • Don’t spray where a heater or fan is blowing on the spray area. This will dry the coating before it lays to the surface causing roughness to the finish.
  • Bonds to acrylic, fiber glass, gel coat and plastics with long term adhesion especially when the surface is sanded first with 320 grit sandpaper or with a scotch brite pad.
  • Product is high in solids, will cover generally in two coats. Allow first light coat to become tacky (wait 5 minute) before applying heavier final finish coat.
  • Understand shaking the can for a full minute will assure best coverage and results.
  • Remove the gloss first from enamel, ceramic and porcelain finishes with our etching cream for best adhesion.
  • Mask off the areas that you do not want over-spray or product on like the tile edge fixtures and floor.
  • Wear the recommended respirator when poor ventilation is apparent.
  • Wet coating can be cleaned up with lacquer thinner or Isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to wear protective latex gloves.
  • Longevity and adhesion will be extended by allowing the new coating to cure for 48 before putting back into use in a wet or humid environment.

  2. works and looks great 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Dec 2016

easy to use, just take your time. results look great. Definitely make sure you have a high quality respirator when spraying as a dust mask will not protect you from the fumes.

    Note from SURFACE-REPAIR.COM
Thank you for using our product.
With any aerosol, regardless of the paint product, in enclosed non-ventilated areas, it is recommended to use an organic respirator. You are correct, a dust mask is not good protection against atomized spray paint from aerosols. In an application such as bath and shower refinish it would be recommended to place a fan in the window as to remove fumes as well.

  5. Went on great 5 Star Review

Renewed my crappy yellowed RV shower with this spray. Looks great now. Got that spray handle that gave a nice feel to how it sprayed. Also got the cartridge mask. Not into breathing aerosol spray paint. Very happy with results.

  6. Sprayed dry at first..... 3 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Aug 2016

Sanded/prepared my fiberglass shower inset with the recommend sandpaper. Cleaned/masked ready for spray. Started to spray and the paint was going on not smooth at all. Got frustrated and called the spray paint customer service. Happy I did. They told me I was spraying in very high temperature room. Was over 90 degrees in the bathroom. Simple enough, turned on AC and cooled room down to below 80 degrees as they suggested, stuff began to spray like you would think. So glad I called to ask what was going on. Thanx Surface Repair.

  7. Looks Great 4 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Jul 2016

I gave it 4 stars because I don't know how it's going to wear but it went on accordingly and looks good. I did all the recommended preps and continued to wipe it with the cleaner until I came away with an unstained white cloth. The etcher/cleaner evaporates quickly so be ready to wipe. As usual the prep work is the most tedious. A good tool to have would be the gizmo trigger thingy that hooks to the can to push the nozzle down evenly and squarely. It'd be good for two reasons. First off my finger extended past the top of the nozzle and caught product as it was released and then formed a drip. Not cool! Secondly pressing the nozzle for the entire time wears your finger out and sometimes it's only at half volume. We had everything covered or draped. The shower stall was masked and covered. Over spray wasn't a big deal and bounce didn't fill the air. I did buy and use the respirator and when I took it off afterward I was glad I had it. We aired out the house directly after I finished spraying. I only used 1 can for a 36X36 shower floor. Overall my wife and I are impressed and happy.

  8. Shower refinish that looks like new... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Jul 2016

The spray is great, however, one bottle did not do the job the reason why I purchased another two spray cans just to be on the safe side..
looks like new, rich and glossy..

  9. New shower pan in a can 5 Star Review

Posted by on 31st Mar 2016

I used Appliance White Aerosol Spray to renew our 32"x32" fiberglass/acrylic shower pan. It made it look brand new, although, one can was not enough to make a uniform glossy sheen. IMO, if you're planning to use this on a full size tub, definitely buy 2 or even 3 cans. And good ventilation and dust mask are a must. Overall, it's a great product.

NOTE FROM SURFACE REPAIR.COM......Thank you for comments and suggestions. Two cans would be ample for a standard bathtub with product left over. We actually recommend an organic respirator when spraying any kind of paint (or brand) in a confined area. We suggest placing a fan in a window and blow out the odor as well, remove the screen to keep over spray off the screen.
