It worked as advertised. The white color matched Sterling Vikrell white right out of the bottle.

This kit worked great. The color match to my Sterling tub was perfect. Though they provide some white and black coloring, I did not have to add either to get a great match. I cannot see the repair.

I had 5 cracks in my Sterling shower wall. I called the company and after sending them some pictures I was told the cracks were too severe and couldn't be fixed. I was going to have to tear it out and replace it. After reading some reviews I decided to give this kit a try. The color was a perfect match. You can't see any of the repairs. I give some credit to myself, ha. The kit is great, follow the instructions and take your time.

Had a crack in back wall and the shower base as well on a Sterling kit we had bought several years ago and just unboxed to install. We got this kit and were able to completely restore those areas, the color was exactly right on the white Vikrell without adding any color from the kit, blended perfectly. Thanks for saving us at least $900 for a new enclosure.

As a contractor, I used this product to repair a brand new tub and surround where damage wasn't noticed until after installation. I repaired a couple spots on the wall set that came with a manufacturer defect out of the mold and a crack at the top of the tub. Color match was almost perfect, had to lighten the paste just a touch. Sanding does dull the shine a bit so at certain angles you can pick out the repair, but most people who don't know there was damage will have a hard time spotting the fix. All in all, myself and the homeowner are very pleased with the results. Only reason I didn't rate it a 5 star is it took more like 2 or 3 hours to dry hard for sanding, not an hour, but still very happy.

Shower walls had 2 chips. The almond matched almost perfectly.

Had shower surround damaged by floor installer. Kit allowed me to repair a belt sander mark in one location and multiple pock marks in another. Great product. Followed instructions and got solid results. Good color match. Was able to sand to match to contour.

I found this product to be good. I just bought a new sterling ensemble tub/shower unit and one of the shower walls had some of the finish come off about dime size. I found this product relatively easy to use with the exception of the color matching. It was so close to the factory as is (slightly lighter) that I just left it as is as adding the darkening toner was too hard to get it to match exactly and for me I was OK with it. It is barely a noticeable difference and at least now the wall is smooth in that spot. I will say I should have called sterling first. They said they would send someone out to fix it but i didn't trust their repair people as i knew a horror story of them coming, making it worse, and then having to rip the tub out and start over. They used to cover these kits but apparently now only will send someone out with it to do it themselves. I love the sterling ensemble tub depth and the walls and ease of install, but their quality control has issues. need to inspect for cracks or finish issues all over before buying and usually lowes or somewhere you buy will not like that. This product is a great product however. I am knocking it down to 4 stars since it is hard to match the color but i understand the concept of changing that and they can't match exactly factory all the time.

Thank you for your purchase and thank you Sterling for the referral. Since we match to Sterling's direct standard, colors still vary coming out of the factory. Mostly we do very well with factory match colors... Batch to batch, white will change. Also, the color of the tub can change from the top to the bottom. Usually, starting with a half of an ounce dispensed into the kit mixing cups and one drop of black is a good starting point to start the match. Check the adjustment to the surface. FYI, the color can change once the hardener is added. The reaction will cause it to go dark however, the color will come back around once cured.

I had a really old tub and found a name on it. It said Sterling. I called them and they referred me to Multitech. The person told me about this kit on their website. I used the kit to fix a hole from drilling a fixture hole in the wrong place. Cant even see it. Had plenty of product. Nothing more to say. Handy kit!
