Wasn't sure i was selecting the correct kit. I talked to a lady on the phone and she helped me figure out i needed a vikrell sterling kit. Package arrived within a few days. Kit was exactly what i saw on the site. Had everything needed for a rather good repair. it applied following kit steps. Color was good. Very pleased!

The chart seems to show that one would receive a premixed product matching the needed color(otherwise why have a chart). I got sucked in and now have to make sure the mixture matched the product. Not good..
NOTE FROM SURFACE-REPAIR.COM...Not all colors coming out of bath ware factories have perfect color consistency. Lot to lot, colors can change. This is the very reason we make this kit with toners. We start with the actual factory standard. Adjustments can be made by the DIY person. It is best to adjust colors with the toner droppers. If the color is too white start with one drop of dark toner, stir and test. Adjust lighter with the light toner by adding one drop and testing.

My husband & I replaced our tub and surround last year. It was a difficult installation with a tight fit that was hard to level. In the end, it all worked out but for a couple of small scratches in the bottom of the tub. I was desperate to fix them and this product worked. It is a perfect match for the color, sanded well, and cured quickly. The bottom of the tub is patterned, so that could not be matched, but unless I kneel down & really look, I cannot tell that a repair has been made.

So, now that I've cracked my new tub during installation, what do I do? Turn to the web to find ideas. Surface Repair had the right product and it works as advertised. Fixed a couple of hair line cracks to the point of not "seeing" the repair from three feet away. Not perfect but close enough.

Product went on easily, directions were clear, buffed to a nice shine. But it needed a little toner from the kit to get exact color match - the repair fixed the gouge. Not sure that my brand tub was the Sterling. Glad kit had that dark toner. Nice kit

This was my first time using this and was very easy to use. I was amazed that the kit included everything I would need, including the wet/dry sandpaper up to 600 grit. Amazing!

The product matched and cured out nicely.
I sanded it with the supplied sandpaper and followed the instructions. I am please with the whole experience. Cheaper than a replacement or a professional. Thanks
