Reinforcement repair kit for bath, shower, spa, hot tub and other fiberglass (FRP) structural damage such as boats, power sports, utility covers, automotive and more. Our specially formulated resin will bond to ABS, Plastics and Polyurethane. This kit is designed to repair as reinforcement first, a large crack or hole, missing structure, or structure repair from the front side or behind the unit. The kit is available in three different colors to help blend the structure repair. it is not intended as an exact match. For exact match of the surface see our Paste Repair kits.
Beware: As where most epoxy & fiberglass resins will initially bond to plastics upon application, those resins will lose adhesion and peel off within a short period of time. This kit is formulated for those hard to bond to applications with our multi-surface Binding Resin.

thanks for the great kit it had everything and good instructions. I had a large hole and this was just the ticket. I was able to solve what could have been a expensive problem.

I used this to repair a 5 inch crack in a shower pan (right at drain). I placed the fiberglass and resin on bottom first, and then reinforced the cosmetic side. The product came with very detailed application directions. I purchased the medium repair kit, and have at least half leftover. As far as I can tell, the pan feel very sturdy and worry-free for years to come.
Surface Repair's customer service is excellent. One of my item was left out of shipment. After contacting their rep, he was on top of everything and had the spray paint sent to me super fast. Thanks again Surface Repair.

Bought two large kits since I wanted to refinish a 26"x25" small but intricate shower pan that had a stress crack and many microcracks that could develop further. The internet store would agree to take my unopened extra package back with restocking fee but still a great service!
This shower pan is in an expedition rig so access is tough on your knees through a 24" door, ventilation challenging and the pan has 36 none friction dimples and other drain channels that makes laying even bubble free fiberglass and resin extremely difficult.
Everything worked as advertised but obviously I only had access to the outer face of the pan not the back as in the instructions.
Getting "great" finish on the front with any complex surface is very difficult and should not be expected. One will have to work with other fiberglass finishing and sculpting type pastes to eventually get a super gloss finish. 1 star deducted as this is REALLY hard work though it is a good kit.
Recommendation from Surface-Repair.com:
This kit is designed for structure repairs topical or backside. Final finish effects and gloss should be achieve with our paste or filler and spray kits. See pictures at the store or on the instructions to understand the final texture and look with this kit. Structural kits leave a fiberglass or reinforced look.

We ordered the repair kit to fix a crack in our shower pan that was made of plastic. I was skeptical if it would work, but took a chance before redoing my entire bathroom shower. It worked great, the instructions were easy to follow and the price was well worth it.

We ordered the repair kit to fix a crack in our shower pan. The crack was right at the inner radius. We ordered the white color and didn't expect it to match well. We just wanted the leak to stop. All in all, the product worked nicely, think it blended very well at the contours and you couldn't see it, we are happy we did not have to replace the pan and we did not have to spend more money. So, good product. It definitely worked for us.

Package came with everything you will need to make the necessary repair. Directions were easy to follow adn only took about 20 minutes start to finish. This was my first time fixing something with fiberglass.

The order arrived within a few days I used the kits to rebuild the fiberglass shower pan. Bought 2 large and only needed one. First I drilled holes to spray expanding foam underneath, patched holes added several layers to the previously patched ugly pan. I followed the directions carefully, sanded and then followed with the non slip coating. Very nice firm surface. Used the matching spray for a crack on the sidewall. I am very pleased. The shower is firm, not slippery and it looks great. Dust mask and respirator required.

I have a bathtub replacement from Menards. It is now a short shower unit since the tub was removed. All was OK for about a year & a half. I am a big guy, 400lbs. And my wife and son are good size too. My daughter who comes and helps in cleaning, noticed a crack line in the unit a couple of Monty's ago. It kept getting longer, then another showed itself. I did not want to take the base out as the ceramic wound have to come hot also. I came across the "Structural tub repair kit & it looked just what I needed.
I ordered the large kit and read & followed the directions closely. Then I applied the non-slip coating after 24 hours. In a word "Fantastic." The unit used to flex a lot, which I never liked. Now, very solid! Very easy to apply both repair and non-slip. There was plenty of materials to apply all three Coates as instructed. First a small patch, then right away a larger second piece with the resin. Then a third piece of the fiberglass mat saturated with the resin. Smoothed the whole thing and applied another coat of resin. Wow! Sanded it like I had before applying anything ( the hard part ). A few small bubble holes which I filled with more resin. Wiped down everything with a Tac cloth & alcohol. Let dry 24hrs. Structural work done.
Taped up as in instructions with non-slip kit, & applied the non-slip coating with the small paint roller in kit. Pulled up tape and WOW! Fantastic!! Let dry till next morning & all took showers. Everyone surprised how GREAT it turned out.
Good tip: if doing a bath or shower area, keep door closed while sanding!
I will HIGHLY recommend these two kits. FANTASTIC !!
