Anti Slip Coating provides a slip-resistant surface to bathtub bottoms, shower bases, tile or concrete floors. Designed for applications where a patch area or a defined non-slip/anti-slip surface area is required to save completely refinishing the entire surface. Obviously, no surface treatment can totally prevent falls. However, this will help keep your employees and loved ones safe on all of these surfaces. Our Anti-Slip Coatings will increase friction and reduce the likelihood of a fall. The components include either a clear coat or a color-matched coating with a semi-transparent powder added to provide a textured surface. The Quick Glaze system provides a great textured surface for porcelain, cast iron, gelcoat and acrylic bath products as well as tile, concrete or metal surface. If the following procedure is followed, it will have great adhesion to the existing surface. The final surface appearance should have a consistent textured surface as shown in the picture.

The individual containers of product have quantities on the labels.(looks as there is way more anti-slip powder than req'd for accurate proportion mixing of 32-1) Guess they want you to have more for adjusting??? There should be an estimated time frame for masking removal without damage to the product edge lines.
Note from Surface-Repair.com:
K2000 and Quick Glaze applications, allow to dry for at least 20 minutes before removing tape. Tape will come off smooth when product does not overlap the tape heavy or over-loaded. Tape can come off anytime up to 24 hours. In the event of flooded or overloaded product, or If longer periods have passed, cut or follow the tape line with a knife or razor. Tape will peel off smooth.

I called the support line since I was not sure what color to choose. They told me that the plumbing white is a safe choice. It did came out more gray than with the bathtub white. Should have chosen the white. Really nice finish, wish I would have chosen whiter color. There is a difference but it looks uniform. Can live with it.
Note from Surface-Repair.com: Most Bath ware White is more gray. The lighter colors are usually gel coat. If you sand the surface near the damaged area with 300 grit sandpaper, you will smell a sweet odor like fiberglass on the sandpaper. If this is the case the light color usually would be better. No odor, get plumbing white as a general rule. Another way is If the color is close to printer paper white or lighter than paper, order the pure white. Darker than printer paper white, order the plumbing (grayer white).

Was easy to use. Instructions incorporated the enamel and plastic instruction on the same brochure. That helped.
Quantities supplied match mixing instructions, the hardener quantity of the K1000 supplied was 1/5 as suggested in the instructions but worked well. I would suggest supplying the vinyl contour line with the kit, i know those are expensive like 12 bucks, it is natural for it to be part of the kit though, same for suggesting a mixing cup. Result looks very neat and professional. Am pleased. I did all the prep as suggested, now to be seen how will it hold with use.

Looks great, easy to mix and use. Acid paste did a good job.

The tub and shower non-skid kit included the paint, a hardener, a reducer, a roll of tape, and a nice small roller. The color, bone/almond, was a nice match to my American Standard bone fixtures, and the amount sent was adequate to cover the bottom of a standard bathtub. The instructions said to mix either a 5 to 1 or an 8 to 1 ratio of hardener to paint, but we chose to mix at a 5 to 1 ratio. This worked well. The paint rolled well with very smooth roll out, and the working time was what was expected. We removed the tape about 6 hours after painting, and it removed easily. The finish looks good and looks professional. The texture is nearly identical to that of the non-skid strips that this paint replaces. The look is much better than those strips! Note that a respirator is a MUST when using this product. We also used fans to pull the smell out of the bathroom, and it took about an hour or so for the smell to dissipate with the windows open. I would cautiously recommend the product to experienced DIYers or professionals only for you want to be prepared for the odor like other paint products.

The directions with all the products are very clear and include pictures, very easy to follow. I applied the coating over the fiberglass repair kit that had cured and been sanded. The coating went on smoothly and cured very hard, the color is a great match in the biscuit linen. I am very please. The ugly flexing shower is now firm and stable and looks great.
