Available colors: (Choose above) Appliance White, Plumbing White, Biscuit/Linen and Almond/Bone.

Other applications:
Utility and golf carts, hand rails and grab bars, air conditioning grills, parts refinishing, metal doors and window frames, cabinet doors, office furniture, file cabinets and more. Great for pool, spa, sauna, utility and pump areas, basement, kitchen, yard and other products exposed to the elements.

Application highlights and recommendations:

  • Sprays smooth with little orange peel and nice gloss.
  • A clear coat is available for surfaces that do not need color or to extend the use of the color coat application.
  • Clean the surface first with pre-cleaner and wipe with a tack cloth for optimum spray out results and a dust free finish.
  • Spraying product at 76 degrees ambient work temperature will give excellent spray out results.
  • Don’t spray where a heater or fan is blowing on the spray area. This will dry the coating before it lays to the surface causing roughness to the finish.
  • Bonds to acrylic, fiber glass, gel coat and plastics with long term adhesion especially when the surface is sanded first with 320 grit sandpaper or with a scotch brite pad.
  • Product is high in solids, will cover generally in two coats. Allow first light coat to become tacky (wait 5 minute) before applying heavier final finish coat.
  • Understand shaking the can for a full minute will assure best coverage and results.
  • Remove the gloss first from enamel, ceramic and porcelain finishes with our etching cream for best adhesion.
  • Mask off the areas that you do not want over-spray or product on like the tile edge fixtures and floor.
  • Wear the recommended respirator when poor ventilation is apparent.
  • Wet coating can be cleaned up with lacquer thinner or Isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to wear protective latex gloves.
  • Longevity and adhesion will be extended by allowing the new coating to cure for 48 before putting back into use in a wet or humid environment.

  1. Excellent Product 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Jan 2020

I have used this product in various colors for fifteen years. There is a learning curve/technique to get figured out. Years ago I was getting a mat finish so I called the 800 number and learned that application temperature and distance of sprayer to surface were the determining factors of texture. Applying at a cooler time of day allowed for a more comfortable distance resulting in better color distribution and closer to the original glossy finish.
Color match is reasonable but always an issue if you are not covering an entire tub or shower tub. Fortunately the human eye is easily fooled when the natural lighting changes with the tub surfaces change angles from the vertical side to the horizontal bottom or the horizontal top.
The sanding/etching, pre cleaning, and the 48 hour cure time will ensure the enamel doesn’t flake off. Due to the cure time and the smell its best to apply between tenants or while they are away on a trip since they will use the tub and tell you they did not. Your tenants may vary from mine.

  2. Bath tub refinish 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd May 2019

Excellent product, sprays and covers really good, the color match on my almond tub was perfect. I sprayed the bottom and about three inches up the sides and you can't tell where I masked and didn't. Time will only tell how well it holds up. Cleaned tub thoroughly with acetone first to remove all the soap scum then scrubbed with ajax cleaner, then sanded with 320 grit paper and finally wiped down with alcohol before spraying. Product seems expensive for spray paint but the results are well worth the price.

  3. I SHOULD OF JUST USED THIS... 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th Jun 2018

I had used another brand / product and to no avail, it didn't work, never cured, ran and sagged. Besides, the removal process was an utter nightmare.

A family member of had recommended Surface Repair Tub Refinsh Aerosol Spray. She stated that this product worked, was a durable, long-lasting, affordable and well worth it. Since she had convincingly sold me on this product, I had decided to take her advice and purchase this.

This was very easy to apply and gave me the look and the feel I was wanting. No sagging or lumps and covered evenly. I had applied a few coats for my desired look.
I am completely pleased with my decision to purchase this and to give this tub refinishing another try. I intend to use this product on all for my refinishing needs.
If you have the patience to refinish and the desire to save your old cast iron beauties...this is the product you need.

I used 2.5 cans on a large tub.

  4. Saved my Tub! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th May 2018

I am so very pleased with everything from shipping to application of this product! I had to patch a crack in the acrylic tub and paint the yellowed jets inside the tub. It looks new again! Also used it on a cultured marble sink that had deteriorated around the drain. What a lifesaver! I still have most of the can left and will guard it carefully!

  6. Works Great 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Aug 2017

This product has worked for well for my fiberglass tub and has held up great. After moving into a new home I discovered some small hairline cracks in the bottom of my tub/shower, so attempting to stop any potential leaks I ran to my hardware store and purchased a 2 part epoxy product. Although this worked for covering the cracks, the white epoxy started changing color after a few weeks and looked awful. The rest of my tub/shower was in good condition so I did not want to spray over the entire unit, so I taped off just the bottom of the tub and used this aerosol spray. I knew the color would not match exactly, but since I marked it off it almost looks like the bottom textured floor is naturally a slightly different color. I am very happy to have found this product and can report six months later that it has adhered very well and has not peeled off from cleaning or from general use of the bath and shower. It also did not cause my tub to become any more slippery.

  7. Looks good on day 3 5 Star Review

Looks good so far and we hope it holds up well (better than previous products.) Respirator must be snug to face. But also dries very well.

  8. Sink looks great! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Jun 2017

This product is absolutely amazing! I had ruined my sink finish and thought i would have to replace it. I found this product and decided to try it. The sink looks great and covered all of the scratches and ruined finish.

  9. Easy to use 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th May 2017

Although I have not used a product for the purpose of refinishing a bath tub I am very pleased with the ease of using this product. I took my time in prepping the tub and made sure it was ready to be painted. I applied a primer prior to applying the refinishing paint that you sell. It was easy to apply and the finished product looks great. I have not had the paint on long enough to determine it's durability but it made the old tub look like new. The spray handle that you sell also makes the job much more comfortable.

    Note From Surface-Repair.com
The use of primers may have a detrimental effect on the longevity and bond of the surface refinish coating. This coating is intended for Wet Area surfaces, primers can create a porous barrier that will absorb water and moisture through a coating causing delamination of the spray job. Although this particular job may hold long term if the tub is not in high use. Peeling issues may occur. Primers are not necessary or recommend with this product.

  10. Product really works 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Mar 2017

The product really works, but be prepared for strong odor for a few days. Please make sure to wear a respirator.

    Note from SurfaceRepair.com
Thank you for your order and the recommendation. An organic Respirator is always best with the combination of ventilation. Regardless of the paint or product in any Aerosol Can, it is best to wear an organic respirator. Always read protection and warnings on Aerosol cans for recommended respirator type.
