Product Description

Surface Repair Refinishing Spray is ideal for the toughest refinishing jobs, this porcelain hard refinish coating cures and becomes hard like no other paint and is long lasting, durable, with a high gloss finish that is easily kept maintained. Use for refinishing bathtubs, sinks, toilets, shower stalls, stove tops, washers, dryers, refrigerators, outdoor furniture and more. This product can also be used on cast iron, enameled steel, vitreous china, porcelain, gel-coated fiberglass, acrylic and plastics. This ceramic like product is the ultimate for applications where water moister, high humidity and ease of cleaning are a concern. The applications are endless!

Utility and golf carts, hand rails and grab bars, air conditioning grills, parts refinishing, metal doors and window frames, cabinet doors, office furniture, file cabinets and more. Great for pool, spa, sauna, utility and pump areas, basement, kitchen, yard and other products exposed to the elements.

Application highlights and recommendations:

Sprays smooth with little orange peel and nice gloss.
A clear coat is available for surfaces that do not need color or to extend the use of the color coat application.
Clean the surface first with pre-cleaner and wipe with a tack cloth for optimum spray out results and a dust free finish.
Spraying product at 76 degrees ambient work temperature will give excellent spray out results.
Don’t spray where a heater or fan is blowing on the spray area. This will dry the coating before it lays to the surface causing roughness to the finish.
Bonds to acrylic, fiber glass, gel coat and plastics with long term adhesion especially when the surface is sanded first with 320 grit sandpaper or with a scotch brite pad.
Product is high in solids, will cover generally in two coats. Allow first light coat to become tacky (wait 5 minute) before applying heavier final finish coat.
Understand shaking the can for a full minute will assure best coverage and results.
Remove the gloss first from enamel, ceramic and porcelain finishes with our etching cream for best adhesion.
Mask off the areas that you do not want over-spray or product on like the tile edge fixtures and floor.
Wear the recommended respirator when poor ventilation is apparent.
Wet coating can be cleaned up with lacquer thinner or Isopropyl alcohol. Be sure to wear protective latex gloves.
Longevity and adhesion will be extended by allowing the new coating to cure for 48 before putting back into use in a wet or humid environment.

Best Product for Refinishing Acrylic shower non-slip floor!

I had used a previous product listed as being suitable for PLASTIC. did not realize the difference between requirement for PLASTIC vs.ACRYLIC.

The other product looked good when I applied it but lasted less than a week before it washed away each morning. This product, is exactly what is says it is! It's been on like 3 weeks and looks perfect. Please be aware high odor. Opened every window and used a fan to exhaust fumes.

Note from Surface Repair.Com... The directions recommend wearing an organic respirator as well. We would recommend wearing a respirator when spraying any paint product in confined places. Placing a box fan in the window helps as well.

My kitchen sink was worn through to the fiberglass in places where pots and pans scoured and scratched. Refinished bottom of sink and it turned out amazing! Coats evenly, no runs, beautiful gloss finish, perfect color match. I did follow directions and sanded the area with the recommended sandpaper and did use the recommended pre-cleaning aerosol and waited the 48 hrs. before using sink. I will now protect bottom of sink with a sink mat. I highly recommend this product, easy to use with absolutely beautiful results.

NOTE FROM SURFACE-REPAIR.COM:
We highly recommend this product for the most challenging of surfaces. Kitchen sinks bring challenges of its own with pot and pans nicking and wearing the surfaces. Beware with any protective mat (like rubber mats) for the bottom of a refinished sink or bathtub. The mat can retain water under the surface of the mat that can penetrate the refinish and make it peel. If mats are used be sure to remove after each use as to keep the newly refinished surface dry and intact for many many years.

Sanded and sprayed my stained fiberglass tub floor. I seemed to have rust on it. This made it look pretty dang good

I have several rental houses and flip homes, many have fiberglass tub or showers that are (were) old, stained and ugly. This product is amazing and makes my DIY skills seem professional. I resprayed a tub years ago in a rental and it still looks great after many renters. I am impressed with the durability and easy of use with this stuff. This product has saved me tons of work from tearing out tubs. Love this stuff!
Color Match wrong choice

Product applies evenly unfortunately the color did not match to Biscuit. Made a call to them and found out I had a Bone color. They helped me order correctly. Resprayed and the color is right. Thanx

Used the crack and chip filler... That turned out great. The first spray out from the can did not cover, so I read the instructions. Said to shake it for an entire minute. I think I did for two whole minutes. Wow, what a difference. Should have done that from the beginning. My old stained and broken shower floor looks like new. Very nice finish and shine. Very happy.

Am very pleased on how well the product sprayed. Found it kept spraying smooth with no splatters when I wiped the nozzle tip periodically. Over all very happy with the product.
